During my last trip to Sao Paulo I visited one of Florense's showrooms and I was impressed not only at the quality and finish but also at the fantastic design options they have to offer! Be warned, this is the first one of two picture heavy posts as I walk you through my visit and tempt you with their original designs! Florense is one of the main names in high-end furniture across 72 cities around the world, 60 of those showrooms are located in Brazil, and you can see the other locations in the map pictured. It offers high design and luxury for projects of any size and uses ecologically correct manufacturing processes which have earned them an environmental certification recognised internationally. Wait until the end of the post and you will agree that we are missing one of these in Europe! Badly.
As soon as I walked in I saw the gold pearlescent units incorporated into the kitchen and lounge. I took a moment to drool over them, before I took these shots.
Did you also notice the stools by the breakfast bar? Aren't they just to die for...
Just on the opposite side there was another striking kitchen. The planning of the units and practical storage is very clever, but the variety of finishes available is really what makes the difference and it is just insane. Before we explore that, take a look at this beauty.
I mentioned the variety of finishes, there are endless possibilities with wood, laminate and glass. Some of the options are high gloss, high tech featuring unique effects and designs, pearlescent, mother-of-pearl and microtexture. And once you chose the finish then you also need to chose the colour, but that won't be easy. As an example there are 38 colours to chose from in the microtexture or high gloss finishes. See some of them below.
On the next post I will share with you the bookcases and bedroom shots. Temptation to be continued...
