Sideboard, credenza, console, buffet, cabinet. There are many names to this one piece of furniture, they all have one thing in common whatever you call it though: they will make your room look very stylish... and no doubt more organised with all that storage space!
Whilst they had specific functions when they were first invented, the only rule that I believe in now is that you should go for one that reflects your style and makes you love your house even more. Same goes for where you place it! Trying to get away from matching sets of furniture or following rules will help you achieve your dream home, unique to you and your family.
With that in mind, I have searched for the best five sideboards out there and can't wait to share them with you...
- Brick sideboard white & walnut by Dwell
- Stockholm sideboard by IKEA
- Reflect large sideboard by Muuto
- Luka oak sideboard by MADE.COM
- Fjord wooden vintage sideboard in white and grey by Maisons du Monde
I can see each one of them somewhere in my house, but especially numbers 3 and 5. They feature such simple yet great designs with a touch of fun added by the curves on Muuto's and the different colours on MDM's.
Which one one is your favourite?
