Before & After: Beach Huts Nursery

I love children's bedrooms. It is such a joy to design spaces where little ones will play and explore for years to come! Plus the use of pattern, colour and fun elements, it doesn't get any better. I have recently finished my baby daughter's nursery. We were so busy prior to her arrival that I had to finish decorating it after she was born. The painting had been already done, so what was left to do was hanging wallpaper and styling during nap times, literally. It took me about a week to hang wallpaper on one wall (ok it is a big wall!) hanging one to two lengths a day. We got there in the end and the room is now...

How to add Milennial Pink to your home decor

It is official. The most admired colour of recent times is going nowhere just yet. It is stronger than ever and it is considered the new neutral. Say hello again to millennial pink. We have known it as blush, pale pink, pinky peach, muted salmon, even ironic pink as it's not too girly. It seems like the perfect time of year for a bright yellow themed post!If you've been here before you may have already seen the first stage of our guest bedroom makeover, when it went from four magnolia walls to two dark blue ones contrasting with a monochrome headboard. It lifted the room up already enough to not make me want to run out every time I was in there. But something was still missing, a bit of warmth to be exact. That's where the second stage of the makeover came in.i had neon pink or bright yellow in mind so i reached out to my insta-fam and their great taste, and the decision was made, yellow it was... (thank you insta-friends!)Let's look...

Behind the Scenes on starting up a wallpaper business + Our first collection

You know that feeling when you've been working on something for months and it finally becomes a reality? Anyone out there who is a work-at-home-mum or a creative/maker or has started up a business will identify with that! The journey is not easy. After months of researching, designing, planning... it is finally here, our wallpaper collection has landed!  It has taken a completely failed attempt, a lot of sleepless nights, trials and errors, several meetings and a lot of going back and forth between designs and colour ways to get to where we are. Initially I 'lost' 3 months with a failed attempt, and I did reach a point where I couldn't see the way forward. But when you are determined...
